The time on the bottom right hand corner of the screen is no longer correct and I do not know how to put it right. When i try to sync with the internet servers i just get a message which says there was an error trying to sync with the server.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have used computers for a number of years but would call my self a user so please no complicated replies.

thanks for any help.

I must be missing something here .............?

You just click on the time icon in the sys tray and then go to "change time and settings" or is there some other problem you have?

In the settings on this last page you can find your way through to the time sync and it should be "time.windows.com" ......................... is this the area you are having a problem with?

Have you tried changing the Time Server it syncs with? Is your Timezone set correctly?

You can add Time Servers to the list by editing the registry. I have never had luck with the default Time Servers.
