To eliminate a screen on boot up

    Need some technical advice .
    Operating system win98

    Whenever I boot up the normal sequence is firstly the ram calculating its mb, the second screen is the hardware details such as the processor/ mhz, kb cache , memory the slots and irq etc. then the next is the win98 logo screen but once again after this the hardware details show up and then finally the desktop.
    I wished to eliminate the dual display of the hardware screen so that right after the win 98 logo the desktop loads

    any suggestions
