Can you tell me how to disable findfast.exe and where to find it.
Also can I remove kazza from the control panel. I am sending the new startuplist after I have used the scan, and also sybot. This is it.

To remove Kazaa, you can go to Start > Settings > Control Panel.
Find Kazaa and click add / remove and remove it.
If you see save now, web hancer or new.net or new.domain, uninstall them also.
Findfast.exe is an option in MS Office. You may try, Start > Run and type in msconfig and click ok.
Click the startup tab and if you see findfast, uncheck it.

If findfast is there, (it is put in by MS Office usually) you will likely find it in Control Panel. You can set it not to run automatically from within the program, but I don't know if it is a good idea to delete. I always disable it, it chews up too much resources turning on every so often to no real purpose.
Kazza can be deleted from add/remove programs. I would recomend Kazza Lite for a replacement.
Wiser heads than mine will no doubt comment on your new startup.

Yes, Kazaa Lite is what we recommend. None of the baggage Kazaa gives you.

Carole- Here is a free removal tool for Kazaa, and a link to get the Lite version, which from what I read, is OK to use and has all the same capabilities as the former program, without the bad parts. http://www.majorgeeks.com/article.php?sid=3110&cat=31

Here is how you remove the spyware parts, first though you check to see if you do have them, its in the directions.

They also have info about the Lite version.

EDIT: I see you have some responses already....gee, gotta get DSL here someday....but, will post this anyway in case someone needs it.
