    Tragedy

American President George Bush is visiting an elementary school and he visits one of the classes. They are in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings. The teacher asks the President if he would like to lead the class in the discussion of the word, "Tragedy."

So the illustrious leader asks the class for an example of a "Tragedy."

One little boy stands up and offers, 'If my best friend, who lives next door, is playing in the street and a car comes along and runs him over, that would be a tragedy."

"No," says Bush, "that would be an ACCIDENT."

A little girl raises her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove off a cliff, killing everyone involved, that would be a tragedy."

"I'm afraid not," explains Mr. President. "That's what we would call a GREAT LOSS."

The room goes silent. No other children volunteer. President Bush searches the room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?"

Finally, way in the back of the room, a small boy raises his hand. In quiet voice he says, "If an American Air Force plane, carrying Mr. & Mrs. Bush, were struck by a missile and blown up to smithereens, by a terrorist like Osama bin Laden, that would be a tragedy."

"Fantastic," exclaims Bush, "that's right. And can you tell me WHY that would be a tragedy?"

"Well," says the boy, "because it wouldn't be an accident, and it certainly would be no great loss."

If you'll notice....... A DNC NEA operative handed GW the book upside down. You can see the evidence of the skank whore's blurred hand on the right side of the picture. Just like the Dan Quayle case where the NEA operative gave him a list of spelling words with the wrong spelling corrections. Now change your soiled pink panties GORONS

For me it depends on the context. All the jokes about Bush being stupid don't bother me in the least. However, when people let their dislike for the man or the party interfere with their ability to grasp reality is when I get irritated. People should learn to separate the wheat from the chaff (sp?) so to speak. As an example, the Iraq situation is dangerous and people who want to disagree with Bush's position merely because they don't like Bush are playing with fire. I don't care who is running the country--if the Administration (Republican or Democrate or otherwise) believes there is a real and immediate threat, then I don't believe anyone on this board could possibly debate that (they don't have the requisite knowledge). To believe otherwise is both naive and reckless (especially when the safety of others is involved), imo.

    Just because it's funny :D

The Difference Between The Liberal and Conservative "Debate" Over The
    War On Terrorism:

Question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two
small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife
comes around the corner and is running at you while screaming
obscenities. In your hand is a Glock 40 and you are an expert shot. You
have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?

    Liberal Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the
man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that is
inspiring him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think?
What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and
knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this
situation? Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he
definitely want to kill me or would he just be content to wound me? If I
were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he
was stabbing me? This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with
some friends for a few days to try to come to a conclusion.

    Conservative Answer:

    BANG!
