Tony is indispensable here at TSG. Without him there would be a serious gap in the knowledge base here. It is my feelings that, if there was ever a need, Tony would be the perfect candidate for the position of "Security Moderator". But in my mind at least, he is certainly "Honorary Moderator".

Can't confirm, but if Tony, here, is who I think he is....then he gives of himself at many places around the net. There are a few forums out there that have benefitted greatly by his participation. :)

I will have to second Sir Max on that. Tony Klein is a familiar face, well at least his avatar and name is, at many security websites and I know that the problems are being taken care of by the right person.

    Thanks Tony Klein!

BTW Tony, just d/l Ad-aware6, whatcha think of it? Does better than 5.83 by the tests I've done today. 9 spys found to 8 by Spybot S&D!

Tony uses Tony Klein everywhere except one forum where I have found it as TonyK.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! ;)

TSG remains one of my favorite boards for sure! :)

As for AAW 6.0, sure it's better than 5.83. At least it's getting updated regularly.

However, I still consider SpyBot the superior product, because of the number of baddies detected as well as by the capabilities and efficiency of its "engine".
And it handles LSP issues a lot better than the current version of AAW as well.
There's a plethora of folks at the Lavasoft board that lost their internet connectivity because of AAW removing New.Net or CommonName incorrectly, among other causes.

However, I'm sure these problems are being addressed as we speak.

Don't go comparing the number of items found, however. Just like it's the case with registry cleaners, the quantity of items detected isn't the most important thing. What counts is what it found.

Tony: You are the best and a great asset to TSG! And you're also very straight forward in your answers....and not akin to people giving you the runaround! :) You're a brave and patient soul! And your avatar just reminds me so much of you! :) Take care. angel :)
