toolbars

    Hi my toolbars have no text or logo in them, in fact just a blank line with a x at the beginning except my google toolbar ..tried system restore but to no avail

    The toolbars that you can browse with, but since you posated the one has reapeared fzw, i use wiondows XP and internet explorer. thanks for the reply. but have u any idea what can cause this?

    So you're talking about Internet Explorer toolbars? I don't know what "fzw" is.

    Hi boublehelix. what happened was this : I have IE as my default browser, and i have other toolbars that i can click on to go directly to their site. But this particular day the toolbars were blank with just the X at the extreme left hand side: ie click toolbars and whether i enabled or not the whole of the particular toolbar was empty. but it has now reapeared.

    A setting?
    Or maybe a virus? (Don't try the procedure described there.... it might be harmful... I gave the link just to tell that this might be a probability.)
