Anybody got a few all time favorite movies?

Here's mine (in ranking order):

1. Lethal Weapon (liked all 4, but the original is my favorite).
2. Men In Black

3. Independance Day

OK, so I like action... :)

Gandhi? You can't be serious. I tried watching that movie a few times and fell asleep--the only action is where they slap Ghandi in the face!!! My Left Foot was terrible too!!! Anyway, here's some of mine:

1. Aliens 2 (one of the few movies I can watch over and over)
2. Hunt for the Red October.
3. An Officer and a Gentleman (Lou Gosset's greatest role!).
4. Sixth Sense
5. ET
6. Raiders of the Lost Ark (loved all the Raiders movies)
7. Star Wars (all three originals).
8. Juraissic Park

Read the book Pelican Brief by John Grisham. Haven't watched the movie yet, though. Might just have to rent it to see if it as good as the book. In my experience ususally the book is is better thanm the movie. The movie I'm really looking forward to seeing is Lord of the Rings. I've read that trilogy so many times I think I have it memorised...

Forgot about that one. Really good movie.
I've read a lot of John Grisham and his books are really good too.

Also Goodfellas, another good movie.

Yes it was the pelican brief... great movie

Thanks Mac :)

Another was No Way Out... I missed the first 15 minutes of the movie the first time I saw it.. made a big difference to me & if it had not already been released I would have told the director to rewrite the beginning....LOL
Kevin Cosner played a Russian Mole(spy) in the movie. ( He was spying w/ in the US Navy )The first 15 minutes allowed the viewers to know he was a mole.... if you had not seen that the movie was much much more intriguing. Matter of fact w/ out knowing it... I claimed it to be the best movie I ever saw. Then I watched it again. Shucks... it was messed up.

Yeah, I've read a lot of Grisham novels, too. Makes for good bedtime reading. And I have to agree, Sean Connery is much sexier now than when he was a young man, but then I've always preferred older men... ;)
