I have an old Toshiba CDT Satellite model 2595 with Windoes XP. The current batery has been replaced and the last time it was used the following occured.
    • I went to use the cd drive and upon opening the drive tray, the screen went blank as if it lost power. Curently the AC power is pluged in but nothing happens when the power button on the laptop is pushed on. I'm sure that the battery is still charged. if not could this be a cause? Is there an internal cutoff overload swith that may have tripped.
Thank you in advance for you in advance for your help and assistance requarding thsi problem.
