Hi, I have a Toshiba Equium A210-171 which now on starting displays the message - bootmgr missing press Alt, control, delete
On doing that I then get the option of F2 or F12 neither of which is any use.
I have then tried to recover using the supplied recovery disc which seems to run ok except when it's finished doing partition stuff then stops at 1% recovery and shows an error message for several things like Adobe reader failure culminating by saying that the image cannot be written to "C" drive.
Please help as this is driving me mad!!!!! Thanks.

Sounds like a hard drive defect. If there is a diagnostic in the BIOS (Setup) try it. Or try the diagnostic from the hard driver manufacturer.
