My laptop has numerous pop ups and I have spybot and Adware to delete spyware but it doesn't seem to be working. My computer shuts off without notice and i have numerous programs running without my knowledge. These are all the programs that are running on my computer. I've already run Hijack on my computer also. Thanx Ali

    Hello,

My wife had a similar problem with her toshiba satellite. We figure out that the processor was overheating, causing spontaneous shutdowns. We solved the problem by getting a can of air and blowing all the dust out of the fans and stuff.

    hth,
