TV perfectly fine yesterday - this morning: no channels, no picture, no sound. Menu comes up through remote but only fleetingly and shows no details for channels but not a 'no signal' message. Checked all cables, connections, aerial etc, no changes there. Can anyone help?

disconnect everything - and just have the aerial connected see if that helps

thank you for your help. I've tried that but it makes no difference. Can still play DVDs and games with full sound and picture but can't access any channels at all. Just a blank screen, the channel icon flashes up when you press the remote and there's a momentary flash as if it wants to display the programme but then it goes blank again.

No reason to suppose that it isn't, will try and get another TV to check it out, usually get a 'no signal' message if there's an aerial problem. Never come across this problem before - bit strange. Kids are panicking cos they can't watch match of the day! thanks again for your help.
