Hi all and thanks in advance.

I'm trying to repair a Toshiba Satellite 2455-S305 that will not power on after being dropped on it's corner. It hit on the corner where the speaker and power jack are.
When I plug it in, the power light and battery charging light come on. If I press the power button, the power light comes on, but I don't hear anything, see anything, or feel any vibration to show that it's actually trying to boot or anything.

I opened it up, took it apart and reseated every connector, RAM, and drive and am still seeing the same problem.

The power jack is removable, and attached via cable to the motherboard. It looked like it was in pretty good shape and the cable and connector did not seem to be stressed.

I also tried plugging it in to an external monitor with no results.

    Any suggestions?

Maybe you damaged the motherboard or CPU?

...and this would probably mean the laptop would make a 'beep' sound, but maybe u damaged the sound too?

Big theory, but, may be true.
