I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite L875D-S7332 laptop but the win 8 that came with it had no back up drive, and the SD card, whether erased or not had no restore function.

I ran an HDD recovery and then uploaded Win 7 , till I could get info, but it will not connect to the net, and keeps saying 'cannot detect network adaptors'.

I searched online and found the recommended drivers, but following careful instructions (REALTEK WAN drivers) and restarting still did not resolve the issue. I am at a loss: because of the reformat, win 8 is not even recoverable.

What do I do? Every thing on Device Manager under 'other drivers' including Ethernet, USB, and Network adaptors has the yellow alert symbol.

I just tried to do a windows 7 install on a Toshiba Satellite C875D-S7330 that had windows 8 originally installed. I think that you are in the same position I was in, no driver support for windows 7 for the things you need at the Toshiba site. I ended up just installing Ubuntu 13.04 on the machine I was working on.
