Touchpad on Dell Vostro 1015 keeps freezing. Running windows 7 professional.
When the touchpad freezes if i press the pg up or pg dn buttons the touchpad works but for only about 10 seconds and then it freezes again.

    Sorry to ask devil,
But what's your experience with PC?
    Begginer,Indermediate,Advanced or anything like that?
Do you have the Restore CD that came with your laptop?

As for desktops i would consider myself advanced but unfortunately i don`t have much experience with laptops.
What i have done is i`ve installed an older driver for the touchpad from the dell website and it seemed to work. It`s not actually my laptop but a friends. I haven`t heard anything since yesterday so i`m presuming that it`s still okay. But do you reckon that what i`ve done will stay fixed?

Consider finding some new drivers for the laptop.
    Might help your friend.
The OLD Drivers might have been the issue
