Touchpad & keyboard not working

    my TOSHIBA SATELLITE LAPTOP'S TOUCH PAD AND KEYBOARD ARE NOT WORKING WITH XP BUT WORKS FINE WITH WIN7 WHAT MIGHT BE THE CAUSE?

    You could try this:

    1. Turn the laptop off and remove all attachments including the battery.

    2. Press the power button for about 15 seconds.

    3. Replace the battery and power connection.

    4. Boot the laptop and press F2 at the splashscreen to go into setup.

    5. Press F9 which will reset to defaults.

    6. Press F10 to save changes and exit. Answer 'yes'.

    7. Laptop will reboot.

    Hopefully this will solve your problem.
