Touchpad stopped working! =(

    Hi!
    2 days ago my touchpad stopped working...
    I've tried to reinstall drivers... Still don't workin..

    What can possible be wrong??

    whats the make and model of PC
    often one of the F keys can enable / disable the touch pad - may also need to use FN key in combination

    F9 and F11 often used

    I got an eMachines E725.
    The key combinations didn't work...

    if you goto device manager can you see if the touch pad is enabled - under the mice section

    It's enabled and working properly =/
    Getting tired of using the mouse :S
    Any other suggestions?

    try a restore to before the issue started

    start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore - choose a date before the issue started

    Didn't work =(
    Tried system restore from last feb.
    Notable; it did change names in the map of the touchpad software...
