    Hi all,

Just wanted to post a warning to UK residents about www.tpcsystems.co.uk

They seem a little cheaper than most common vendors but do not order from them! They do exist but it is extemely difficult to make contact with them and the chances of you receiving the product aren't too good.

I have to start legal proceeding tomorrow

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Can I ask, if you ordered online, did it have HTTPS or the padlock icon when you put your details in?

    The site looks really... unprofessional.

    Plain stupidity on my part.

Take a guy who's just been paid. Send him out to get drunk on a Friday night. Bring him back home and watch as he decided to start spending money on the internet.

Wakes up nextday and takes a better look at what the hell he did the night before. 'Oh, I bought one of those? That's ok.'

Next, the idiot takes a look at the website he bought from and sees what a sober person does - template website, no payment security.

Checks the with the bank and he hasn't been robbed or anything - only paid for the item.

Situation now is that I probably face a long laborious legal hunt. But it could have been a lot worse I guess. Live and learn!

It happens. but still not getting the product or any contact, that's another story.

I'm pretty sure that there is a BBB there that you can contact, I don't remember off hand though.

    Hi again,

Just thought I'd give an update.

After two threatening letters I have been refunded. No communications whatsoever from them. The only way I found out was through my bank statement.

So, this warning stands - stay the heck away from them!

    (y) great job. I'm glad you did not have to go to court over it.
