I hope I'm posting this to the right forum.

I've been receiving some annoying emails through various mixmaster remailers. I have a hunch who is sending them but I can't prove it. I've asked some of the IT guys where I work if they know how to trace an email that has come through a mixmaster remailer and they tell me it can't reasonably be done (ie: if you threaten the president or something of that nature maybe, otherwise no.)

The IT guys I talked to about it are all fairly good at what they do and have a lot of experience so I believe them but I want to get a second opinion.

Does anyone here know if email through a mixmaster remailer is really untraceable?

TIA,
Joe
