ok, I just built this new computer for a friend of mine and I'm having some major problems. He wanted me to save all his files and stuff to have the old comp look like the new one. I used Maxblast 3 to do a drive to drive copy. Copy worked fine. Then I put the new harddrive into the new computer to start up and had major problems just getting it to log in. Finally got in but now I have some problems. The first problem is that my harddrive is now labeled as drive E: The only other device that would have a drive letter assigned is the dvd-burner. that one is assigned as D: If I remember correctly, isn't the harddrive supposed to be labeled C:? Anyways, thats just one of the problems. Another problem is that the computer is really really slow, especially at the screen where it says starting up (after the Windows page with the little bar and before the log in screen.) Once everything is loaded, it runs ok, but many of the programs have stopped working. On a couple of the programs, I used the repair function on the install discs and it worked, but for some other programs is didn't. I think it's cause the harddrive is now labeled E: I ran a hijack log and hopefully it can give you an idea of what's going on. so the check list is this: 1. Re-label harddrive (currently labeled E: ) 2. Speed up the start up process 3. Fix all programs that do not work.

    Here's the Hijack log:

    Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.0
