I currently have MusicMatch 10.0. I bought some tracks from their store and tried to transfer the music for a slide show to Adobe Photo Elements 3.0.,but the music will not play. I have no clue what the problem is?

When you say you are transfering the music, where are you transfering it from? Musicmatch doesn't need to be open for this (bit confused with the heading 'transfering from musicmatch') the music file itself will live in a folder somewhere.
Also, do photoshop elements slideshows support the use of .wma files? Musicmatch downloads are in this format and not mp3's.

    Moby,
I downloaded the music from muscimatch and it is in my library and in my music. Adobe does accept MP3 and WMA. On the Slide Show I can see the name of the track under the slide show presentation, but I can't get a sound. The only thing that I can think of is that some of the
WMA files may be pre-encoded settings that will not allow me to play the file back.

Well I know that Musicmatch downloads are .wma files with DRM (digital rights management) built into them which limit what you can do with them. On last read of their use, you can play an unlimited no of times, on 3 computers, transfer to mp3 type players and burn a playlist 5 times. I wonder if DRM will stop them being used? Do you have another .wma file without DRM or an mp3 file, which never have it, that you could try just to see that it works ok?
