I have a .zip file that needs to be transferred from my iPhone to my windows desktop. I do not have wifi on my desktop so cannot download anything on that to transfer it. I've tried connecting my iPhone to the computer through a USB port, but when I do that, the only files show from the phone are the files. How do i transfer non photo files from my phone to my computer which isn't connected to wifi?
Open a free Dropbox account.
Transfer a copy of the file from your iPhone to your new Dropbox account.
Login to Dropbox from your Windows 10 computer and download the copy of the file.
Another way you may be able to do it is on your iPhone start an email and attach the file ... but don't send the email. Simply leave it there in the Drafts folder. Now login to that email from your Windows 10 computer, view that unsent email in the Drafts folder and download the attachment.
Of course you could also send the email, with the attachment to your Windows 10's email account.
Windows 10 can view the files via File Explorer.
Where is the file saved on your phone? (As in what app?)
