We are changing computers and will use the same email address through our provider. We are using Outlook. Is there a way to copy the folders I have in my Inbox with Outlook to my new computer so I can still have access to them?

    Thanks

i find the pst file hard to deal with.

i export the address book to a floppy then import when/where needed.

i create the new folders when outlook or oe come up the 1st time and import the address book/wab.

emails i need, i forward to myself but i don't have a lot to forward.

I tried to download them onto a Flash drive, but that didn't work. I will try the link to Microsoft and see if that helps. have WAY too many to email back to myself. Thanks a lot.

i save them as docs/pics-jpeg's and have had to move some stuff from one corrupted harddrive to another, then back after the reinstall of the os and the 1g flash drive worked great.

i moved about 5g off a hd that wouldn't boot but could be accessed as a slave, to get access to what was needed.

    BearOne2:

Are you saving every single one of the emails as a doc/jpg??? or just the folder? I am a little unclear on this. I initially tried to copy all on the flash but no luck. Can you give me more details on the proceedure? I too think the Flash is the easiest.
    Thanks

what i want to hold onto, yes. the folders themselves, no.

with the email open, file/save as, either as a doc/jpeg/video in my docs/my pics/my video.
that way i don't need an email program to open them.
