    A quick question..

Is it possible to download and employ the use of one of the free internet clients(Juno, NetZero), in the way of use during (state-to-state) travel? Having a laptop and intending to be on the road quite a bit, soon, I'm curious to know if there's any way to accomplish being online via local numbers in varying locations. (even through AOL, perhaps? do they offer the ability to change it per dial-up session?)

    Thanks..

    :)

ISPs in multiple locations have different methods to allow you to 'roam' (similar to cell phones)

att has an 800 number you can use, it costs tho
juno/netzero would have to have nodes in the locations you're visiting, check their websites

aol you can get just about anywhere (unfortunately ;) ) and you could use a low hr account (i have a 3hr/mth account to back up cable, approx $5.00) then just use the local access no.s where ever you are
[edit: IMO if you do go with aol - get one of the lower versions 4.0 or 5, rather than the newest v7 - save the wear and tear on the laptop and not chew up your access time needlessly)

lots of ways to do it
