    Hi
Our family computer has been infected with the named trojan and it literally took control of the computer my dad couldnt open any programs especially the antivirus software which obviously failed.
Now we tried to restore the comp to factory settings and the virus seems to have deleted the entire D:/ drive.
Now its confusing because what do we do, going on the internet to try and install some stupid removal tool is out of the question because there will be some way to get rid of it without buying something that might not even work. If we try to re-install the antivirus stuff it's more than likely that the trojan won't allow it.

What is there to do really? We just need to know how to remove it manually in steps. We have a windows vista comp. I'm sure giving details of the computers internal whatevers wont help in anyway. Simply need to know how to deactivate this trojan without paying anything, downloading anything, and putting anything into the computer via cd/floppy drive.

The computer at the moment is disconnected from the internet to avoid anything being revealed from our computer and to prevent the trojan spreading to anyone elses for now.
