I am not sure if I am posting in the right forum, but any help would be great!

My norton anti-virus detected the trojan.byteverify virus. Can anyone tell me how to delete this virus and get it out of my computer?

THANK YOU!

First you want to disable system restore if you have ME/XP. Second, try updating your virus definitions. Thirdly restart you computer in safe mode. Lastly, try a full system scan and delete all files detected as trojan.byteverify

The damage done to your computer if any will be very low. This trojan allows unauthorized execution of commands, and may add some porn sites to your favorites. It is easy to remove, no worries.
