    Hi :)

Run hijackthis again and put a checkmark against these entries....double check
    in case you miss anything....
.....then,close all browser and outlook windowsincluding this one and "fix checked"

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [P2P Networking] C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe /AUTOSTART

    O8 - Extra context menu item: Coupons - file://C:\Program Files\couponsandoffers\System\Temp\couponsandoffers_script0.htm

    Re-boot and remove:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking
    C:\Program Files\couponsandoffers

I know you have at least one of these but this is my copy/paste.:)
    Download AdAware 6 181 from here: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
Before you scan with AdAware, check for updates of the reference file by using the "webupdate".
    Then ........

Make sure the following settings are made and on -------"ON=GREEN"
From main window :Click "Start" then " Activate in-depth scan"

    Then......

Click "Use custom scanning options>Customize" and have these options on: "Scan within archives" ,"Scan active processes","Scan registry", "Deep scan registry" ,"Scan my IE Favorites for banned URL" and "Scan my host-files"

    Then.........

Go to settings(the gear on top of AdAware)>Tweak>Scanning engine and tick "Unload recognized processes during scanning" and "Let windows remove files in use at next reboot"

Then...... click "proceed" to save your settings.

Now to scan it´s just to click the "Scan" button.

When scan is finished mark everything for removal and get rid of it.(Right-click the window and choose"select all" from the drop down menu)

    Now re-boot...

    Then
Download Spybot - Search & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de

After installing, first press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.
Next, close all Internet Explorer and OE windows, hit 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove all it finds that is marked in RED....Use the "imunise" feature.

And when this is all clean...
    Consider installing the following:

SpywareBlaster v 3.0 and SpywareGuard v2.2, to prevent Active-X drive-by installations, as well as provide real-time browser hijacking protection: http://www.wilderssecurity.net/index.html

IE-SPYAD, a registry file that adds a long list of known "sites" to the Restricted Sites of your Internet Explorer: http://www.staff.uiuc.edu/~ehowes/resource.htm

    ;)

Hello, again! I thought it was gone but i just got an alert from AVG saying it is still there? Computers drive me crazy....anyway here is what it said exactly:

    Virus
    Trojan horse PSW.Bispy.B
    is found in file
    C:\System Volume
    Information\_restore{F362C7B7-AC43-4AC1-A99E-314E20D8D8D1}\RP114\A0018711.exe

I hope this makes sense to you, tried searching for it but even my search isn't working right? I don't know what to do, I ran another hijackthis log, if you could take a look, i appreciate all of your help....thanks, scottk2420

oops I forgot to tell you that i ran a scan with S&D, Adware 6.0, and did the housecall scan online and they all said it was free from any viruses??? I read on another tread that sometimes AVG might give a false positive(don't know much about computers so i didn't know if that could be true?) Anyway thank you for your time, it is greatly appreciated by all! :)

You will need to purge your restore folders.

Disabling the System Restore Utility (Windows XP Users)

    1. Right click the My Computer icon on the Desktop and click on Properties.
    2. Click on the System Restore tab.
    3. Put a check mark next to 'Turn off System Restore on All Drives
    4. Click the 'OK' button.
    5. You will be prompted to restart the computer. Click Yes.

Note: To re-enable the Restore Utility, follow steps one to five and on step three remove the check mark next to 'Turn off System Restore on All Drives'.
Then set a new restore point.

    ;)

Yes disabling System restore purges the System Restore folders.

When you are sure you are clean turn it back on and create a restore point.

    To create a restore point:

Single-click Start and point to All Programs.
Mouse over Accessories, then System Tools, and select System Restore.
In the System Restore wizard, select the box next the text labeled "Create a restore point" and click the Next button.
Type a description for your new restore point. Something like "After trojan/spyware cleanup". Click Create and you're done.
