Trojan Horse in Systray32s.exe

Trojan horse in above which normally resides in c:windows\system. Norton can't repair it & refused to let me submit it to them to check as they already know of its existance, so it currently resides in quarentine. Computer appears to still run ok but surely something must be going on? Can I delete this file or is it ok where it is?

If the file is in quarantine and you are still able to run and open exe files, it sounds like Norton has already repaired the registry for you and you only need delete the infected files, which are not windows files. See this link for what the manual removal process if needed:

If you have problems with running exe files, either manually edit the registry as directed above, or download and run the exefix08 file from the site below:
