    Gidday

i have a host of problems i suspect are from a trojan corrupting my system.

i am running XP pro, using athlon xp 2400, 256 ram, about 60 gig hard drive. have also AVG freee virus ware.

It started with, on my start box all the control panel and my documents were wiped mysteriously. then in "my computer", which i had to create a short cut for as was missing also, the usb flash drive was not being picked up/ seen.

Next and most worryingly, the screen started to break up, ie pixualate until you pretty much couldnt see anything at all in a matter of minutes.

So suspected graphics driver was corrupted by a trojan of sorts etc reinstalled the driver for the graphics card which worked for a bit then problem came back.

Ran a whole host of progrmas to clear adware etc. Adwre, spybot, bazzoka, easy cleaner, and lastly downloaded a free trial version of Kaspersky to catch what AVg didnt . got rid of everything except the trojan win 32 problem. which i suspect is the main problem.

then system started to crash all the time with blue screen (ahhhhhh). when booting up started flicking on and off until rebooted itself and then it ran the windows recovery screen and this seemed to fix the problem of a while, until it started to break up again.

So problem still around screen breaks up only a little at the moment. But get the following message when i load up

"The application or DLL C:\program files\microsoft active sync\ rapiproxystub.dll is not valid windows image. please check this against your installation disckette.

have tried running the windows disk in repair mode but i get so far and then not sure what to do at the dos prompt.

    Anyway help.

I suspect i need to down load hijack this and copy report onto here?

    thanks in advance:

    mean time
