Hello, I have contracted a virus call [email protected], which comes up as a false system alert and advertises for an antivirus software company (http://www.pestcapture.com/?advid=177 at the moment), provides pop-ups, and generally slows down the computer from research I have done. The other night I also had a similar virus, but I haven't seen that since doing several scans (same gist as this supposed trojan, but called "[email protected]"). I was wondering if anyone could help me here with it?

A quick scan with Hijackthis produces:

    Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1

    Bumping.

And the networm seems to be aprt of the package as well, as I have seen that warning again, among general malware ones.

Bump for the night, I'm going to try uniblue registry scanner/defragger and see if that helps.

Also, neither norton or ad-aware pick up anything.
