Hi! I'm using Windows XP and MSN 9 dial-up. I scanned my computer a few days ago with RAV Antivirus and found that I had 5 infected files including a few trojans.

I deleted the files and rechecked with RAV, used AdAware and SpyBot, defragged, ran Stinger, and used my DiskCleaner. My computer is still running real slow.

Can someone check my HJT please?

Thanks. :)

I don't see any real reason for the slow performance, though here is one item that you should remove:

O3 - Toolbar: QuickSearch Search Bar - {82315A18-6CFB-44a7-BDFD-90E36537C252} - C:\Program Files\QuickSearch\QuickSearchBar1_27.dll

and these can be checked and "fixed" as well:

O14 - IERESET.INF: SEARCH_PAGE_URL=
O14 - IERESET.INF: START_PAGE_URL=

Perhaps "clean boot" troubleshooting XP will help you sort it out:

You're welcome; I should have noticed that you are using a proxy server (I think; the entry appears to point to a port rather than an actual server address):

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=127.0.0.1:9022

This could be the cause of the problem if it is web related. I don't know whether you are using it by intent, but I would remove that and test.

No, I didn't intend to use a proxy server. I don't know what happened there. I'll try removing it and see what happens. Thanks. :)
