I've been fighting for weeks now to remove all the CWS, trojans, and virii from my Xp with no luck.

I ran Spybot S&D..comes out clean most of the time.. fixes what it finds the rest of the time

I ran AVG... same results

I ran CWshredder.. usually finds and fixes about 6 items.

I ran the online TrendMicro House call.. and get 23 uncleanable items...namely:

JAVA NOCHEAT.A
JAVA BYTEVER.A (and .A-1)
HTML ADVER.A
(namy instances of each...except only 1 of the last one)

(I had already follwed instructions to remove MS Java and replace it with SUN Java..before any of these things were found)

I ran Hijack this, it looks clean to me for now, but will have lots of bad stuff in an hour again if things go the way they have been.

Is there any fix for this?

here is the current log:

I don't see anything bad, you just need to reset your home page.

I reset my start page constantly.. read my first post for what housecall found and can't clean--thats what I'm trying to figure out... I have the latest CWShredder.. none of the programs I run find the stuff housecall did. In my first post I listed all the programs I ran...

I only show a clean log for about an hour at any time..then its all back --even if i havent been online.

I don't want to have to format.. how can I get this cleaned up? =)

Did you use the immunize feature in Spybot Search and Destroy? That will keep things that have been detected from coming back.

Please post your log again to see if there's been any change.
