    Hi all, new here but having problems with trojans and malware i believe. When i do a virus scan it comes back clean, but then warnings come up about virus in WINDOWS32..no idea what all this means.I've attached hijackthis log. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi, Welcome to TSG!

    You have an information stealing trojan on your system. The best way to deal with this is to back up your data and do a full format and reload.

    You should also notify your bank and or credit card companies.

    Once you have completed the reload you should access all sites you use and change your password.

    Thanks for the answer. Can i format myself or better to have a pro do it? Just got the laptop..was used..and don't have anything on it worth saving.

    It's pretty easy to format and reload. Make sure you get an anti-virus on right away and then go for SP2.
