Trouble connecting computer to TV for dual display.

    Okay, I know this sounds weird, but I plugged the yellow plug into the black port and the white plug into the yellow port. It works fine now. It's just that the sound doesn't work.

    Do you also have the S-Video plugged in? The sound doesn't work because you've go those cables backwards (if you also plugged into the yellow and white ports respectively on the TV). The yellow plug is video output and the black is audio. The black has to be connected to the red or white input on your television to get sound.
