    Hi guys

If anyone knows the program, the program giving me headaches is actually the Leitch Velocity old version not the Velocity Q. My options right now do not include any upgrades of this program so please help me if you know why this is happening with the program like it is.

I have MPEGs from various sources comming in my machine and some of them import and play just fine. But there are some MPEGs which import OK but the result is a sort of a distorted picture in random frames or sets of frames. A sort of like a digital drop, missing or displaced pixels. When I watch the MPEG on other machines in WinMediaPlayer there are no drops and the videos run smoothly. I have installed all the service packs available for this version of Velocity. But as they are pretty old because the Velocity itself is old I am thinking that the codecs are not installed right. But why than do some MPEGs play just fine without any distortions. Which codecs need to be installed to play all sorts of MPEGs in Velocity?

Does any video specialist have any solutions on how to fix this problem.

you could try VLC Media Player (its free)

but for codecs i recommend all of them you can download k-lite codec pack
