Trouble in XP

    Hi,,, well I have been here complaining that I can't get any links to work. I have downloaded the virtual thing from microsoft and followed alot of advice from you guys but still having trouble.
    Now I have a new problem. When I put a burned cd into my burner to play back or my regualr cd rom it justs shuts down. I have had nothing but trouble with burner programs since I got xp. First I roxio platinum 5 and nothing even after updating for xp.
    Then I am trying Nero and still nothing. I am finalizing and everything. I have all the updates.
    Can some one guide me back to sanity please:(

    do you have the aspi driver loaded??if not.I do believe you need that!!I got it..if you want it.shoot me an email :)
