I am having trouble with my wife's laptop wireless connection. It will be working fine then just looses the connection. To get it to connect again I have to due multiple things. Sometimes I just select connect on my network and it starts again. Sometime when I do that it will not connect and go to troubleshoot it will comeback with a message that it repaired the adaptor and then works. Sometimes I have to restart to get to work.

What kind of information do you need to help me with this?

    Thank you

Hi;Do other wireless pc's on this connection have the same issue?
My first thoughts based on your description would be :
Changing the wireless channel.1/6/11 in US.
    Update the router firmware.
Update the adapter driver from your pc maker's web site.
Then let's see output from this utility when working and not working.
Wifi test exe. Hint from Johnwill

Download and run Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspecto from
    www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php
on the problem machine. Post a screen shot of the main screen here.

To post a screen shot of the active window, hold the Alt key and press the PrtScn key. Open the Windows PAINT application and Paste the screen shot. You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file. To upload it to the forum, open the full reply window and use the Manage Attachments button
    to upload it here.

Note that this application requires NET Framework to run. If you get an error about a missing function, download and install NET Framework.

If you're connected to a hotspot or domain network, contact the network administrator. Otherwise: 1. Unplug or turn off the device. 2. After all the lights on the device are off, wait at least 10 seconds. 3. Turn the device back on or plug it back into the power outlet. To restart a router or access point that has a built-in battery, press and quickly release the Reset button.

Log onto the router's admin page.Depending on make and model, the ability to change the wireless channel should be in the wireless or security section.Your router's user's manual should be your guide here.
