I stumbled upon a seemingly useful feature of Word...when you type certain 3-character combinations (such as "===", "***", or "---") and hit Enter, Word converts those into lines. I was using this to separate parts of a document I was working on. However, there appears to be a problem--when I try to go back and change things, the lines move around when I don't expect them to (eg jumping up or down a few text lines), and worst of all, *I can't delete them*. Neither delete nor backspace has an effect--it ignores the lines and just modifies the text--but I can't seem to delete the lines either like I would a graphic object (eg right-click and hit delete). I may be doing something wrong, or else it's just a bug. Any suggestions?
