Troubleshooting Security Issue . . .

    I'm troubleshooting some security problems on my sisters PC...
    - IE opens up several windows on its own
    - system starts to hang, and each reboot results in a similar startup scenario
    - there are system folders that open on their own
    - we also have 'new folder(s)' on the desktop, that seem to have created themselves (?)
