So I've been able to figure out how to get old camcorder tapes onto discs and finalise them however when trying to use a number of methods eg. Handbrake or converting using vlc or using DVD decrypter and converting that file on handbrake it either doesn't work, makes the file having scan lines or no sound and the video looks fast forward or it just straight up freezes how do I convert to mp4 and it actually work cause I'm really at my wits end
For oldies (tapes) .... I normally work on the original Video from a USB capture in my video editor "Adobe Premiere Elements"
Been a while, But as I remember ... I only work on (Handbrake) the vob files in the dvd.
Most times, I have to poke around to get the queue to work for DVDs ???
I'm guessing that you are only working on one part
Do you have the original video that made the DVD ???
... or ....
Do you have anything that will play the tape ...
And output the Yellow (analog video) and Red/White (Audio)
The included WinTV software leaves a little to be desired .. But it works.
Any player that outputs Yellow/Red/White
It says the output is H.264 .... (MP4)
Don't know the max resolution that one provides ...
But a DVD is really low ... (Obsolete nowadays)
I've used mine on a record player, VHS player and a couple of Really Old Camcorders
Thank you so much for your help I hope this works when I eventually buy it If it doesn't I'll be back in touch!
