Ok, so I went to this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwQGzd_n540 in order to get windows movie maker 6.0 onto my windows 7. Now, I was able to download WMM onto my computer, however there is another program that you download to get HD options for WMM. They downloaded fine, but when I tried to copy and paste the extracted HD files (at least I'm pretty sure I extracted them, I just clicked the extract all files button and so I think that did the trick) to what the description of the youtube video told me to paste it to (c:\program files (86x)\movie\shared) I got a message that said "You'll need to provide administrator permission to copy this folder". What does this mean? How do I fix this?

make sure you admin permissions are set to full control; or give yourself admin privileges

Ok, so I went to the properties of the extracted folder and then security and it says this under security

    Group or user names:
    System
    jason (jason-PC\jason)
    Administrators(jason-PC\Administrators)
    WMPNetworkSvc

then to change permissions I clicked edit for every one and switched all of those for to full control but still nothing. Is there somewhere else I need to go to change permissions? or give myself admin permissions?

    1. Put the Windows Movie Maker 6.0 Folder Into your "Program Files" Directory

    2. Run Install Movie Maker as admin.

    3. Create Shortcut from directory and make movies.

I'ved edited your opening statement to read "never mind" instead of the word you chose and while it's not profanity, there are better choices that would have been more suitable for a family oriented site. Please keep this in consideration when posting. Thanks.
