I bought TurboTax several days ago and unwrapped it then. Today, I got around to installing it and am afraid I may have lost something or something was missing from the box. I can't find anything with a product key on it. I understand that I am supposed to get only one free electronic filing with this copy of TurboTax. I don't know how they would regulate that unless there is a product key.

Is there a product key for TurboTax 2004?

I know I should ask Intuit; but, they won't answer for a day or two and I figured someone here would know.

I may be wrong, but there was so much static about Turbo Tax requiring an authentication process (like MS) that they had to remove it from the program.

    JayT,

A product key and authentication (like MS) are different. I'm asking about a product key.

That is how they would regulate it. If you can install it without a product key, then you don't need one.

Yes, and it was in today's USA Today, also.
