Every time I shut down the computer, I get a window saying "Ending Program hpcmpmgr.exe". I can wait until it finishes (about 10 seconds) or end it immediately. I have no idea what this is or how to get rid of it. It just started happening about a week ago. I am operating Windows XP Home. I just want to be able to shut down without waiting for anything to end. Someone please help

It is part of HPCoretech...Hewlett Packard program. You can do start>run MSCONFIG and uncheck it under startup tab and restart
