Tv digital amplified antenna: More channels ?

    downtown seattle, i have a $30 non-amplified digital antenna, will i get more channels with an amplified antenna ? i get 7, 13 , and 20 now; thanks which channels would i get ? thanks

    No way of telling short of trying it. TV reception is as much witchcraft as technology and there can be areas with very good reception right near places with bad. An amplified antenna may help, but digital is all-or-nothing, so you will either get enough of a signal to see more channels or you won't. There won't be any middle ground with just a bad picture.

    The best way to find out is to get one and try it. Make sure it can be returned if it doesn't help.
