I have a KV-32S26 Sony and the picture cuts out after being on for a short time. The time varies from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. It just shuts down and the sound remains fine. Any help or a point in the right direction, like a good forum to help would be great!

The EHT (Extra High Tension) of about 30,000 volts used to produce a picture is derived from the horizontal deflection portion of the TV, so any fault in this area would cause complete loss of picture.

That the sound continues suggests its unlikely to be in the power module, but that still leaves a thousand or more possibilities!
