All right guys and gals,

When I boot up my computer, my spyware doctor software finds twain-tech and transponder\Zserv in the registry and other places. I can quarantine and remove them, but when I reboot, there they are again. How can I get rid of it and keep them from showing up every time I boot my computer.

Along with TRansponder\Zserv and twain-tech, there is trojan drsnsrch. Can anyone help????

Thanks
Jerry

Create a permanent folder on your hard drive for Hijackthis, like My Documents\HJT
Click on this link: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe and "Save" hijackthis to the folder you have created.

Double click on the program to run hijackthis, click "scan" then click on "Save Log".

Post a copy back here and someone will be happy to review it.

Don't make any changes until instructed to do so.

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cyzonk] C:\WINNT\system32\lxfiad.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [Delete GPPAE.exe] command.com /c del C:\DOCUME~1\MDT4\LOCALS~1\Temp\GPPAE.exe

O16 - DPF: {739E8D90-2F4C-43AD-A1B8-66C356FCEA35} (RunExeActiveX.RunExe) - hcp://system/RunExeActiveX.CAB
O16 - DPF: {99CDFD87-F97A-42E1-9C13-D18220D90AD1} (StartFirstControl.CheckFirst) - hcp://system/StartFirstControl.CAB

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Restart in safe mode

Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab. Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". Now click "Apply to all folders" Click "Apply" then "OK".

Delete this file: C:\WINNT\system32\lxfiad.exe

Empty this folder: C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\MDT4\LOCAL SETTINGS\Temp

Empty your recycle bin.

Reboot and post another log.

cybertech,
found one HKCU\Software\Zserv after reboot
Also while spyware was scanning at boot up I sawe this:
C:\Progrm files\invisible keylogger\license.txt
And I did not HKLM\..\RunOnce: [Delete GPPAE.exe}...
Does this mean anything?
I would delete that registry item and the folder C:\Progrm files\invisible keylogger.
