Two monitors on Windows 8?

Not sure if this is posted in the right spot or not, so sorry if it's not. I have a refurbished HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 8. It's one of the newer ones without a CD drive. I would like to, at times, attach a second monitor to it to use as an additional display. The only problem is, it lacks the port that made it easy to do so on my older laptop. What is the easiest way to attach an additional monitor to my laptop? Thank you.

what model is it? One of the execs here at work has a newer HP that has that identical issue, I ended up getting them a usb-vga card........http://www.trittonaudio.com/prod/parts-video.asp
