These two should be the easiest to answer:
    (1) Wrote up a new thread, but somehow it disappeared. Where is the protocol to be sure it is posted?
    (2) Have no problem with ads down the right side of window, but would like to ask, do you accept any ad, or may we take an ad as something that has been, shall I say, verified? Honest? Or are viewers entirely on their own?
    Thank you.

    Hi Geezer77,

the ads on the right are from a Google sponsor bar, and they are at your own peril, but having advertised on google myslef, the majority of these guys are going to be OK.

TechGuy can not verify them, nor make any guarantee about them. they are there if you want to check them, and that is that.

As to your new thread issue, I can see that you started a thread Yesterday about Possible problem with hard disk. Other than this thread, the last thread you started was in March.

you would find this by clicking your Username, and select Find all posts by . . .

Thank you most kindly. You have answered and I find it understandable and workable.
    A geezer.
