    Hello,

I have a new HP Pavillion with Vista Business running on it. When I type in Outlook 2003, a ridiculous amount of typing errors occur. The cursor bounces all over the screen... from different parts of the text to the format fields, etc. If I turn off the touch pad, the issue goes away, but then I have no method of navigating.

    Anyone help?

    Thanks
    John

Check in control panel for any ability to lessen the touchpad sensitivity.

If there is none, you might consider lodging a warranty claim, as that should not happen.

I always use a small wireless mouse though, much more "productive" than the touchpad.
