i have been in tech support for over 5 years professionally, and have used computers since 1984. i'm not all knowing, but do have a very good grasp of computer problems. the thing i'm experiencing is this: sometimes the typing on my computer is very slow. i can type a sentence and look up at the field and it will have 1 letter typed in. then it takes at least 15 seconds to get the next letter. very frustrating. it happens in everything, firefox, notepad, word, and even the search box on the start menu. i am running a laptop from cyberpower pc with win 7 pro 64 bit, i-7 2.8 ghz processor, 8 gb ram and intel hd graphics 3000. usually a reboot will fix it, but sometimes it freezes up enough that it takes a hard reboot. when i check the event viewer, there is nothing on the system or application logs that match the times or that seems unusual. i have ran ms security scanner, malwarebytes, tdss killer, combo fix, rogue killer, hijack this and gmer in addition to the ms security essentials that i use and keep updated. if it's a virus or the like it is hard to get rid of. the one thing that i haven't tried is reloading windows. i look forward to any responses. thanx in advance.
