Since very recently I have been experiencing a major lag in my typing, on every program. It can take a full second some times for the letters to appear. Same think on the back space. I am using Vista.

I looked for solutions, did virus scan, did registry check, went through all the solutions I could think of without any success. I also check other threads for ideas but it does not seem to fit my problem

The computer also seems to be slower than usual, and crashed a couple of times.

    Help would be appreciated

    Thank you.

have you checked device manager for any warning signs? start>type device manager enter...

click the + signs to see if there are warning signs..

    will try that.

Now I am running Panda Active Scan online. It is at 25 % done and identified two viruses not detected by Avast. Might be the problem as well
